Tipsy Peppermint Mocha
|hot brewed coffee (or 2 shots of espresso + ½ cup hot water)||8 oz|
|SOWN Vanilla Oat Creamer||½ cup|
|unsweetened cocoa powder||¼ cup|
|hot water||¼ cup|
|Kahlua (or favorite coffee liqueur)||2 oz (about 1 shot)|
|chocolate liqueur||1 oz (about ½ a shot)|
|peppermint liqueur||1 oz (about ½ a shot)|
1. In a microwave safe container, combine cocoa powder with ¼ cup hot water. Whisk until smooth. The mixture will be thick.
2. Add creamer to the cocoa mixture and whisk until combined. Microwave for 45 seconds – 1 minute or until just starting to simmer.
3. Add hot coffee, Kahlua, chocolate liqueur and peppermint liqueur to the creamer mixture. Stir a few times. Divide evenly between 2 heat proof mugs. Garnish with a peppermint stick or crushed candy canes if desired.
